    Roomba owners!

I just got a Roomba 530 on woot.com and found out that while it's not officially able to be scheduled, it will accept low-level scheduling commands sent through its computer port.

I've made a simple computer program to automate the process, so if you've got one of these things and have wanted to run it on a schedule but got a low-numbered 500 series (i believe it will work on the 510 as well), give me a PM and i'll let you have the program.
Take your hypocrisy and double-standards and shove them up your ass, because if I see them I'm calling you out on it.

I had a Roomba for a while - it was GREAT for hardwood floors. For carpet, not so much.

    I got something even better!

I have two kids that will vacuum my house and they can't deviate from that at all!

It is awesome to turn over the household chores to youngins.

    KEWL!!!!!!

Can you program the shopvac to zero in robotically on cat hurls? That would be so great especially in the middle of the night so one doesn't have to step in it on the way to the human litterbox....

    OK TMI....

Just guessing the Roooomba isn't a "wet/dry" vac....

Yeah...petty sure that even if the Roomba ramped up onto the hairball, the result when the brushes hit it would be pretty horrifying.

You have to get a Scooba for that LOL.

I really want a Roomba, but I'm holding out for when we get rid of the carpet in the bedrooms (this year??? please???)
