Just a heads up guys. This from my host:

Your web site which is hosted with xxxxxxx is getting an upgrade.

These changes will make your site run faster than ever AND provide protection 24/7 from DDos attacks (distributed denial-of-service) through our new DDos mitigation hardware.

Your sites new home includes an upgrade to the latest Dell enterprise class server hardware featuring SOLID STATE DRIVES in RAID-10 with un-matched I/O, and 3.16GHz Dual Quad-Core processors.

Your site will be moved to the new hardware sometime between May 29th through June 7th between 9PM-7AM. You will receive a courtesy email to let you know the move is under way. Typically the move is very quick and only takes a few minutes, but of course larger sites can take up to a few hours. After the site is moved you may see an odd looking page that says “welcome to apache”. This is because your computer/modem/router most likely still has your sites OLD IP cached. To clear this error simply power down your computer/modem/router for one minute. This will solve 95% of the issues. For the remaining lucky 5% we will work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Don't do anything unless the site won't come up for you, and that probably won't happen. I run my own caching DNS at home so I may have to restart my server before I see changes (or wait until propagation bleeds through on it's own)

You shouldn't see any problems.

LOL - I am actually VERY happy with our current host. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The email said they'd work with me on a specific time frame if I wanted, but I really don't expect to be down long. Our host specializes in VB sites, unlike those retards half-assers we were with last time.

If you can remember back to the host before these people, it's x1million better. We can actually get onto the site now.
