I totally agree. Osamy and his pals are doing the things the most radical liberals have wanted done for decades. Virtually all of it is geared toward weakening or destroying capitalism. They have preached at and demonized capitalism and our companies to the point that many people now agree with them and think we need "change". But the change they refer to is communism and that isn't an answer I want. I knew all I wanted to about communism long ago and I absolutely don't want to live under a communist regime. And I don't want the younger Americans to endure that either.

Saudi Arabia Is Sick Of Hearing The U.S. Talk About Energy Independence
Saudi Arabia Is Sick Of Hearing The U.S. Talk About Energy Independence
Former Saudi Arabia ambassador Prince Turki al-Faisal takes out a rhetorical bazooka and aims it right at Barack Obama and his administration in this month's Foreign Policy magazine.
In a blistering essay, he calls Obama a demagogue, and says the United States is heading for a "disaster" if it continues leading its people towards the "mirage" of energy independence.

While I have a distrust of the Arabs as partners there is a certain logic to his argument. It is obvious that Obama's administration is NOT interested in energy independence because if they were we would be drilling off the coast of California and Florida and developing shale oil in the west. This whole "green" energy is a chimera. We need nuclear energy, more refineries, clean coal technologies and efficiencies in consumption but they will not come from government programs but from the free market search for profits where all innovation is developed.
The end of the dollar spells the rise of a new order
Gold surges, hits new all-time high of $1,045Last autumn's global financial crisis set off an economic earthquake. And we are still feeling the tremors. The latest sign of the ground shifting beneath our feet is our report today of plans by Gulf states, China, Russia, France and Japan to end their practice of conducting oil deals in US dollars, switching instead to a diverse basket of currencies.
It is not hard to see the motivation for oil exporters to move away from the dollar. The value of the US currency has fallen sharply since last year's meltdown. And fears are growing, in the light of a spiralling US government deficit, that a further depreciation is likely. They do not want to sell their wares in return for a currency with an uncertain future.
I wonder how long it will take for the government to confiscate all the gold![]()

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: And in one year’s time, in a stunning move, we’ve seen the federal government take over 30% of all private wealth produced in this country. One year ago 100% of private business profits were private. Today 30% of private business profits are owned or controlled by the federal government. If they get their way and take over healthcare
GLENN: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. All of us are looking at each other saying, wow, I’ve never heard that stat. Where do you get that stat?
CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Oh, no, that’s true. An, an economist from Arizona State University has calculated that since the inception of bailout nation, we have seen the federal government own or control 30% of private business profits.
GLENN: Oh, my gosh.
CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: If the federal government lays claim to the private wealth produced in healthcare, Glenn, that’s another 18%, or 48% of the private wealth. And if they lay claim through cap and trade, what Lindsey Graham is getting on board with, that’s another 8%, or 56% of the private wealth produced in this country. That’s stunning. That is stunning.
PAT: So just those two programs, the climate bill and the healthcare reform, which is another 18%, or another 26%?
CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That would be 26%, or a total of. Because the federal government has already, Glenn, gotten control or ownership of 30% of the private wealth produced in this country. As if that wasn’t bad enough, now this would be an additional 26%. At that point we are no longer a free market capitalist country. That’s why people are nervous for a reason. People aren’t crazy. They haven’t been ginned up by talk show hosts. This is real.
