We are apparently entering an new age where "peace" means something totally different than any of our Nations forebearers ever thought it did. What will probably happen is, the God haters will eventually wrap their tiny brains around the idea that ALL "religion" is profoundly evil, and thus will begin a new and more serious worldwide movement to try to wipe any signs of any of it off the face of the earth. Over and over and over. It's the "end times" all right, we just don't know how long the "end" will last, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries, whatever.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Israel has not been angels in this war against the arabs, however, they have made every concession asked of them only to have it blow up in their faces. I think Israel should make a stand, once and for all, and cursed be all those that would go against her

Australia has a big population of Lebanese immigrants. I saw on the news many of them thanking the Howard government for bringing them home safely by chartering cruise ships. Not so happy about Israel, but there's a war going on. Strong emotions y'know.

The two sides gathered at the intersection yesterday afternoon, arguing with one another about the conflict in the Mideast and jostling for the best position on the corner, but the protests ended peacefully. Police stood by to keep the peace.
