When did the constitution become fodder for backroom deals? If the shoe were on the other foot, is there no doubt that the Dems would have pulled the pin a long time ago?
I am so disgusted, what good is having a majority if your going to give away the farm to the looser anyway? When that first nominee comes up for the Supreme Court, we'll see just how sincere and trust worthy the dems really are.

Agreed...I sent a note to DeWine letting him know that Ohioans are already pi$$ed at Voinovich for his antics with the Bolton nomination, now DeWine is acting like a little baby on this one.
I think it's time for some SERIOUS shakeup in congress. We need to vote these RINOs out, and get some conservatives with a spine back in office...

If you really want to shake up congress, what everyone should do, be they republican or democrat, is not vote for any incumbant. If everyone would just do that, we would have true change in America. Whatever the outcome, it couldn't be any worse.

Well, I'm out of the GOP in spirit. I have no interest in seeing neocommunists (i.e. the modern Democratic party) in power, but the GOP is a wet sack of placeholders. They are spineless prison-whores who wouldn't know how to be a majority if their lives depended on it. There's no point in even having them in office if they just drop trou every time the Democrats look askance at them. So, I'll vote when there's nothing better, but I'm not giving them another dime. Period.
