JC Penney Jumps On The Bandwagon

HotAir reader David L found himself a little stunned — and a little disgusted — by his latest JC Penney advertising insert. It seems that the venerable retailer has decided to plunge in with both feet into the Cult of Personality.

They're just making a buck off the idiots just like the people selling the Osamy plates. They know the idiots will buy this crap. And they're in business to make money.

    mark of the beast?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.

People still shop at JC Penney? God the one in my town still sells lawn darts. (I'm kidding of course, but they are so out of date it's laughable)

I can sympathize with a dying retailer accommodating the great unwashed. A dollar is a dollar. If you can take advantage of an Obama voter (it can't be that difficult) then more power to them!

If I could fabricate a pendant for 3 bucks, then sell it for 20 to the dipshit Obama crowd, I'd be all over it.

    What are they hoping for?

On the bright side it, the tags allow you to identify the wackos without having to hear them speak first.

Some of the items are on sale for $99 bucks reduced from a regular price of $209 that sounds like a bargain. It doesn't matter to me. Sales help the economy and reduces the amount of money that can be given to the DNC.
