While attending and watching coverage of the Tea Party rallies yesterday I noticed a marked difference between conservative and liberal gatherings.

At liberal protests the area is left littered and nasty. After the tea party I attended, the area was cleaner than before it began.

At liberal protests, police are required to prevent riots and you often witness a tasing or two. At conservative rallies, law enforcement, attorneys and judges are cheering with the crowd.

At liberal protests you see characters in pink tiaras, face paint, and Che Guevara shirts. At a similar conservative gathering, you see business suits, work clothes, baseball caps and coveralls.

At liberal protests you often see a US flag go up in flames. At conservative gatherings you see our flag being waved proudly.

Conservative rallies begin with the Star Spangled Banner and the Pledge of Allegiance. You know a liberal protest has begun when the smell of marijuana permeates the air.

Conservatives take a moment to honor our armed forces. Liberals hang them in effigy.

Conservatives look to our Constitution for answers. Liberals look to leaders (past and present) of other nations.

Conservatives know what a 401K is. Liberals think it's a strain of Chlamydia.

At the liberal get togethers you'll notice a lot of ANSWER people, World Workers Party people, and other various openly communist groups taking part prominently in the festivities. And they are made very welcome too.

The conservative protest people are clean cut and look like they all have jobs....the complete opposite of liberal protests.

Yeah, they all have nasty tattoos and have metal sticking through their lips, noses, ears and other various places. Like they're some kind of pirates or voodoo people.

One of the speakers yesterday asked for a show hands of veterans in the crowd. I was amazed to see about 25% of the roughly 2,000 people raised their hands. A loud applause ensued.

Very cool.

All anyone has to do is view photos of the Tea Parties on Michelle Malkin's site versus the photos of lefty protests from Zombietime to see the difference.

There aren't as many conservatives at daytime rallies, because they all have full-time jobs....whereas with liberals, attending daytime rallies IS their full-time job...

You know, when you do something really stupid late at night, like read Henry Rollins’ Dispatches section on his website, and you come across his characterization of the tea parties happening around the country as “Small groups of grouchy white people acting out and being ridiculous,” not only do you realize that Rollins is a self-hating grouchy white person, but also that we have entered a whole new era of Rock ‘n Roll: The Ass-Kissing Years. more
